TANTAVI, meaning “of
the loom” in the Sanskrit is the registered
trademark of the national Centre for Textile Design
(NCTD). Theme based exhibitions under the brand name
of TANTAVI is being organized by the NCTD at the major
textile centers in the country. TANTAVI exhibitions,
which represent the adept weaver’s imagination
and creativity transformed into myriad and colourful
fabrics, are an unique opportunity extended to discerned
buyers, exporters, textile designers; manufactures and
handloom weavers to explore new-frontiers in the sourcing
of and use of India handloom fabrics. TANTAVI exhibitions
showcase under one umbrella, the exquisite & colourful
designs and fabrics develops by 25 Weavers’ Service
Centres.
