TANTAVI 2005-06 brings together 142 exclusive colourful handloom
fabrics in yardages and finished products.
The fabrics displayed were coloured patterns,
structures & Textures emerging from the Weaver’s
creativity and use of natural fibres like cotton, wool, silk,
jute and linen to name a few. The warp and weft combinations
based upon yarn count, reed & picks and type of weaves
were phenomenal and were enhanced with introduction of coloured
patterns.
A range of home furnishings, apparel and accessories
were on display to explore the users, designers, exporters,
manufacturers and other textile professional to assess the
end use of these fabrics.
